Welcome, Dancers!
Being a dancer at Iowa State University Dance Marathon means you're a student who cares about the kids who need our help. You raise money (100% of which is donated to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital), and then you get to come to our big event in January.
At Dance Marathon, the job of the dancer is simple: have fun! Be at the event, dance, play games, hang with friends, and meet the kids we support with our fundraising efforts. Being a dancer is making a difference.
Registration Opens In Early April.
We Know You're Excited! It's okay, we are too!
Fundraising difficulties?
Fundraising isn't always easy, especially not for us college kids. Back in grade school, when all we needed was money for field trips, we had the "cute factor" going and people couldn't help but donate. But now that we've found a really great cause (e.g., DANCE MARATHON), we're too grown-up to cash in on looks alone.
To help out, we've put together some tips and answered some frequently asked questions regarding fundraising for Iowa State Dance Marathon. Check 'em out!
