Dance Marathon 2010 was a huge success! We want to thank everyone that helped make January 23 the best event yet. Almost 600 dancers participated raising more than $181,000 for University of Iowa Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network. What a wonderful, timeless gift we are giving so many families treated at the hospital. This wouldn't have been possible without all our dancers, sponsors, committee members, faculty and staff, and of course our families. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for your interest in Dance Marathon. We are Iowa State’s largest student-run philanthropic event. Last year, with the help of nearly 500 dancers, 130 committee members and countless volunteers, ISU Dance Marathon raised over $171,000.  Since its beginning, Dance Marathon has raised a total of $1.3 million. 

The money we raise goes to University of Iowa Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network. This year’s 15 hour event is on January 23, 2010. And don’t worry… you do not have to dance for the entire day. You don’t even have to dance at all if you don’t want to because there will be plenty of others things to do throughout the day. The best part is getting to meet the families Dance Marathon supports. You do need to raise $200 to come to the event, but we have several fundraising opportunities and tips to get you there!
